 Nizami

   "Gunesh Diyari" (Land of Sun)
      has just been released in Azeri Latin by Ayna Publishing House.
      This 91-page hardcover book, sponsored by Unocal and Statoil,
      features prose versions of works by Nizami, a renowned 12th-century
      Azerbaijani poet who was born in Ganja. Telli Aliyeva compiled
      the volume and converted it to prose; Sofiya Abdurrahmanova served
      as editor. 
 Nizami's well-known "Khamsa" is a collection of five
      poems: "Sirlar Xazinasi" (The Treasure of Secrets),
      Khosrov & Shirin, Leyli & Majnun, Yeddi Gozal" (Seven
      Beauties) and "Isgandarname" (The Book of Alexander
      the Great). The poems were originally written in Persian, the
