Editor's Note
The
military attacks that took place in South Ossetia in early August
2008, between Georgia and Russia already have had a profound
effect far beyond the borders of Georgia.
This new section of our Web site was launched on August 28, 2008.
It is not a regular part of our print magazine which has been
published quarterly since 1993.
But as events are happening so quickly, we wanted to reflect
some of the issues as they impact Azerbaijan. We intend to keep
a watchful eye and add new articles and calendar events regularly
to help our readers stay current.
